Nothing better than fresh dill to zhuzh up some green beans. This dish is even easier to make if you get the already-trimmed ones in a bag like the Haricot Verts from Trader Joe’s.
Shopping List & Prep
1 pound green beans, trimmed and washed
1 handful fresh dill, chopped (optional)
2 TBSP butter (or good quality olive oil)
2 TBSP salt for cooking
Kitchen Equipment
Colander
1 large pot
Cutting board
Chef’s knife
Cooking Directions
Bring a large pot of water to a boil and add 2 TBSP salt
Add trimmed green beans, boil for 3 minutes, until tender crisp/al dente
Dump beans into colander over sink
In the same pot over low heat, melt 2 TBSP butter
Add the green beans back to pot, stir to coat beans evenly
